Bits and pieces from my summer sketch book

Man asleep in Limerick bus station and silliness, pencil.

Please do not adjust your screen, this is Henry. The fattest pigeon who ever lived sitting in my garden. Moments before this picture was taken he had eaten the neighbour's cat.
Henry, pencil and yet another man asleep, pen.

Da circa 2009, pencil and somebody's jacket, charcoal and pencil.

Attempting embroidery: muscles on a skeleton, satin stitch (sortanotreally) pen and a backstitch skull.

Bitta twine I'd knotted and weaved together that was HORRIBLE to draw so I stopped and this fella, charcoal, pencil and thread.

Gran,pencil.

Saw a picture of Abe Lincoln on a children's encyclopaedia yesterday and I thought to myself- he looks a lot like an ostrich...then the image of an ostrich going about it's ostrichy business with Honest Abe's head was almost worryingly clear in my mind. So I drew this thing in pencil.
